Our story

mellis began with a simple observation: the food and beverage industry is built on craft, care, and human connection — yet the software that supports it rarely lives up to that standard. Clunky tools, confusing interfaces, and systems that buckle under a busy service have become the norm.

We thought hospitality deserved better. So we set out to build modern, mobile-first applications designed specifically for the realities of the trade — fast-moving, people-first, and unforgiving of friction. The name mellis comes from the Latin word for honey: a small nod to the craft, sweetness, and care we want every product to carry.

What we do

We design and develop a connected family of applications across the food and beverage lifecycle — from the guest-facing experience of menus and ordering, to the day-to-day of inventory and operations, to the insights that help a venue grow. Everything we make is built in-house, with a relentless focus on speed, reliability, and ease of use.
